SUMMER Hours of Operation
The Brush Pit's summer schedule has been updated. As of Sunday, September 1st, 2024, the hours of operation are as follows:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday: 8:00am - 3:50pm
Sunday & Wednesday: CLOSED
FIRE RESTRICTIONS, ADVERSE WEATHER, AND/OR ROAD CONDITIONS MAY AFFECT THESE HOURS.
Pricing & Location
Fees: $10 per load ($20 for large roll-offs): cash or checks (with ID) accepted. No credit cards.
The Brush Pit is located approximately ½ mile north on the unpaved Forest Service road from SR 277 at Mile Marker 308.
STUMPS ARE PROHIBITED
RED FLAG DAYS
NOTICE: The Brush Pit is CLOSED if you see a red flag flying on a day that the Brush Pit is normally open - usually due to fire restrictions, road conditions, and/or weather events.
PLEASE NO METAL OR UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS!
$700 damage was done to equipment at the Brush Pit due to someone putting metal in their pine needles.

WINTER Hours of Operation
Effective November 4th, 2024, the Brush Pit will resume operating its winter schedule - see hours below:
