WINTER Hours of Operation
Effective December 2, 2025 the Brush Pit resumed operating its winter schedule.
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday:
8:00am - 3:50pm
Sunday, Monday, & Wednesday: CLOSED
FIRE RESTRICTIONS, ADVERSE WEATHER, AND/OR ROAD CONDITIONS MAY AFFECT THESE HOURS.
Pricing & Location
Fees: $10 per load ($20 for large roll-offs): cash or checks (with ID) accepted. No credit cards.
The Brush Pit is located approximately ½ mile north on the unpaved Forest Service road from SR 277 at Mile Marker 308.
STUMPS ARE PROHIBITED
RED FLAG DAYS
NOTICE: The Brush Pit is CLOSED if you see a red flag flying on a day that the Brush Pit is normally open - usually due to fire restrictions, weather events, and/or road conditions.
PLEASE NO METAL OR UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS!
$700 damage was done to equipment at the Brush Pit due to someone putting metal in their pine needles.

In the spring of 2025, the Brush Pit will resume operating its summer schedule:
